BENEFITS FOR
FIRE COMPANIES
RIT is actively working to find people in our local communities who have helpful skills they are willing to share. Volunteer fire companies need more than firefighters and EMT’s they can rely on. They benefit from professionals who have knowledge or skills such as marketing, accounting, and grant writing to assist them with operations in which they lack expertise. People with many different skill sets are needed, such as:
• Grant writing assistance
• Basic HR functions/compliance
• Marketing/Media
• Budgeting/Consolidation Assistance
• Fundraising
• Basic station duties
If you have skills you are willing to share with your local emergency services, or if you are a volunteer company in need of help, please contact us so that we can connect you with the appropriate person.
